This gravel garden had become badly overgrown. Grasses and weeds had spread through the gravel and across the sleeper-edged beds, and the shrubs had grown out over the paths, hiding the layout of the garden.
We cleared the weeds and unwanted growth from the beds and gravel, cut back and reshaped the shrubs, and tidied the paths so they're clear to walk along again. The central bed was cleared and refreshed, bringing back the strong, geometric layout the garden was designed around.
With the garden back under control, it's now much easier for the owners to keep on top of with a little regular maintenance.
