Who we are

Harrison Landscape and Garden Services is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us about your data at sam@harrisonlandscapingandgardening.co.uk or 07949 057769.

What we collect and why

Our contact form collects your name, email address and message, plus a phone number, postcode and service if you choose to give them. We use them to reply to your enquiry and carry out any work that follows. Our lawful bases are taking steps you ask for before a contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits without cookies, and the site sends error reports (the error message, page and browser type) to Austin Tech Solutions, who maintain this website; neither identifies you. Our host, Vercel, also processes your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site. Our lawful basis for these is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.

Giving us your details is optional, but without them we can't reply to you. We never sell your information or use it for marketing.

Cookies and storage

This website sets no cookies. If you add ?notrack=1 to a page address, a flag is saved in your browser's local storage so your visits are not counted; it is never sent to us. The Google Map on our Contact page may set cookies under Google's own privacy policy.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with providers who handle it on our behalf: Vercel (hosting and visit statistics), our email provider (which delivers form messages) and Austin Tech Solutions (who maintain this website). Some of them may process data outside the UK, under the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as needed to respond to them. Where work goes ahead, we keep your details for as long as needed to carry out the work and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. To use any of these rights, or to complain about how we handle your information, email sam@harrisonlandscapingandgardening.co.uk. We will respond within one month. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
